Hi Julia! Paradise Palms has a once-a-month social held in a different PP home every month. We have a tightly knit community with our closed facebook page group.  The folks who love this area love being close to the heart of the city. Every year, there is a double-decker bus tour of the architecture in our area. There is a NV Preservation group too that has lectures & classes & tours. We are in some "Palmer & Krisel" homes here that are going for 500K and up in Palm Springs. There are mid-mod history books on these architects and how they came up with their ideas after WWII. The homes generally have floor to ceiling windows that open up to the backyards. I think the yards are more spacious than in the suburbs. Many of the homes housed the stars for the Strip shows (Johnny Carson, Debbie Reynolds, etc.)  We are sure are close to things here...if we don't want to drive & park at a casino on the Strip - it is a super quick ride on Uber. Also, we are hearing that there will be a light rail on Maryland Parkway in the future. Between that and the construction at the north end of the Strip, the resale value will be great. The homes here are all unique too - you will NOT find cookie-cutter homes here. No boring places here!  There is a welcoming atmosphere here in PP - especially for new owners!
